Hand building with Clay

Grab a friend or two and join us on Thursday nights (6:00pm-8:30pm) and be ready to get your hands dirty! ;) 

The instructor will guide you through the steps needed to successfully complete your chosen piece.  

Attendees receive a minimum of a half-pound of clay and will be taught various techniques. 

(Ex: wedging, coiling, sculpting, pinch pot, and more).

 Choose from sample items on display,  or follow along with the instructor for the evening's showcased item, or bring in drawings or samples of pieces you want to make. Either way, join us and play in clay!

Purchase tickets via the links provided in the calendar to reserve your seat. 

Prices range from $26-$55 depending on the complexity and amount of clay required 

Anything other than the standard fee ($26) will be listed in the Class description on the calendar.

"Open Clay" is Thursdays 6 pm-8 pm.

Class events may be found on our website, calendar, or on the Event Board. 

Pieces always available to build:

• Mug, bowl, spoon rest, mug lids, tea light, a trivet or a box. 

Fee includes: Clay (half a pound), Instruction and studio time, 2 kiln firings (up to half a shelf), paint, and glaze.

Hand Building and Wheel Classes Important Details:

• No-shows & cancelations of less than 24 hours are NON-REFUNDABLE!  Plus, all purchased Kiln firing/rental, class fees, and clay! 

• Clay may be purchased for $10.00 per pound. 

• Additional Kiln Space: If the size of your project is larger than 50% of a kiln shelf and/or is taller than a regular shelf height an additional fee of $14.00 will be charged at drop-off.
